Conference Wrap Up Review

Detailed 2013 Conference Schedule

Once again we spent 2013 at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for our annual conference, and we couldn't have asked for better weather! We had an amazing group of attendees this year, and we increased our CEU offerings from 2.1 to 2.2 this year as well. Our new CART & Captioning class was a success, so a big thanks goes out to Deanna and Jen who put on a wonderful training session for our CART/Caption attendees this year! We also made a few other changes this year, most noticeable was the switch from the old punch cards to barcode scanning for attendance recording and reporting for the NCRA. After spending a few hours tweaking that system and getting used to everything, we have to say it made everything MUCH easier, not to mention much faster getting everyone scanned out!

Feedback on the conference itself has been nothing short of amazing. We're SO blessed to have such an amazing group of attendees and presenters that truly make this event worth all the hard work we put into it each year. Our raffle was HUGE this year, containing over 70 prizes worth over a combined $7,000, which were drawn and distributed at our Saturday evening reception outside on the Garden View Terrace. We did change a few menu items for the reception as well as the seating layout, all which received positive reviews. Attendees were also the first to see the new writer from Advantage Software on Saturday evening, which has yet to be named, and they heard about some great new features that Jeremy is working on inside of Eclipse for its next update.

All said, 2013 was an incredible year for us. We didn't have as large of a group as 2012, but the weather was perfect, there were no real glitches or problems and the hotel itself was clean and beautiful as always. We've already started planning for next year, and boy do we have some amazing ideas already! From all the staff of the ESP Network, we offer our thanks and gratitude for all those that attended and to all our presenters that really make our event truly unique!
